BBQ yesterday with 2 rain pours, luckily for us we DIY our own pit under a shelter. Should have taken a picture to show you how the "pit" was done, lots of people must be laughing mad at us, heh.

Year 2007's last day, and I hope to review what I've gone through this year.

The Goods
- Tuition groups growing and having wonderful students
- Made some wonderful new friends
- Pissed off some old enemies
- N level results were good
- Cut Botak
- A new nephew woohooo~
- Grabbed control of my life

The Bads
- I miss you, Shirley. Rest in Peace.
- Blew some greatest opportunities I could ever thought of for work
- Only won a single Mahjong game before in this year
- I didn't manage to help some of my students as much as I would like

Overall
- Tough and strange year. Many things happened, which are all extremed. Extremely good, and extremely bad. I've had good days, as well as my fair share of bad days. Made me treasure who are around me more, and really don't take things for granted. To all my friends and students, I love you all for what you are.

23rd Dec Rainy / Noisy

Was a crazy week, and totally burn a hole in my pocket with the weddings I have to attend. However both weddings look so blissful, and I saw 2 extremely tired couples got married within 1 week. Congratulations to them, and hope they have a wonderful honeymoon.

Its already Christmas Eve already, I used to spend my Christmas Eves with almost the same people every single year, but I guess we've all grown up and everyone has their own lives already. Going drinking in my eve this year, so don't miss me too much!

As for the BBQ details, Pit 12 East Coast. Everyone as long as you are my friend, my students, my ex-students, ex-lovers, ex-pets, and ex-relatives can come for my BBQ, its free so don't bother trying to think up a sum to pay me. Just come and enjoy yourself.

18th Dec Cloudy

Today was the release of the N level results, and I'm proud to say that those who put in efforts did extremely well. You out there who did well, deserves a big pat on your back for all those torturing moments you spent with me giving you hell in my room. But I'm glad it finally paid out, and to hear your happy voices means alot to me. ( you being able to proceed to sec 5 and thus can come back to my tuitions means alot to my pocket too =p )

Hereby, I congratulate my first batch of N level students, and you have all done great! Come for my BBQ this coming 30th of December, I'll stuff you guys with chicken wings.

15th Dec Rain & Clouds

As of right now, its 5.39a.m in the morning and I have just came back from my 2nd fishing trip. Its a consecutive 2 fishing trip, and I didn't get to sleep a wink in this 2 days. More precisely, I couldn't sleep. Even now I don't feel tired, although my face shows it, but my brain is hyper active right now.

2 days fishing, 2 days zero fighter... better days to come.. omg omg! Fishing is good for me, I could have alot of quiet time to myself to think what I need to think of, and many fishing friends around are usually friendly. I guess having a common hobby really does close connections between people.

Now what was my common hobby that closes connections with my students? For some, I think its eat eat eat, right Deffany? For others, they just expect me to say something funny or stupid to make them understand what I'm teaching them. I don't do that!! I never do !!! .... I merely pretended to be blurblur so that I am on the same frequency as the blur ones =p

Gotta stop typing crap right now and go to bed, oyasumi nasai Sotongs!

13th Dec Cloudy

At least it didn't rain today, which was highly unexpected. Totally took me by surprise. Tuition today, had fun with the "heart sweet", "shrek", "Fatimah", and "Yati". I love their new names by the way, I think in the end I would only remember their pet names and not their real names...

Dinner at Novena Square, curry pork cutlet rice at the japanese restaurant was a blast! But what swept us off our feet was the store manager. I couldn't stop staring, its ridiculous! I don't know how to put it, but it was... monstrous... outrageous... extra-ordinary... I think I can't describe it well... the rest I leave it up to your imagination as to what you think I am refering to. The sky is the limits! Anyway only jiao2 and lao K knows what I'm crapping about... don't laugh in the office!

Then meet a half sick man in chomp-chomp, who look ridiculously healthy to me too. Basket I think he got more blood color then me, haha. Today had a fulfilling 5 meals, I practically stuffed myself up till my throat. Anymore and I'll transform into a merlion.

12th Dec Rainy

Uneventful day which ended up me thinking of work, and then ended up with a brain dysfunction trying to think of strategies. Luckily for me, whole day ended with a good supper out, good food, nice chat, and overall an enjoyable night. So for me, day started thinking about work, ended... still thinking about work.

Work work work... thats a little unlike me! I think I will go for Ruffles Therapy, I still have leftovers... hmm...

Joke of the day!

Once, Ah Beng, Ah Lian and Ah Huay went for dinner at the Compass Rose, at the top of the Westin Stamford. After dinner, they went to the lift, scanned the buttons and couldn't find the button for the first floor.
Ah Huay suggested taking the stairs but Ah Lian decided to press the lift button "G". They found themselves on the first ground floor and Ah Beng remarked, "Wah, you so smart, ah. How did you know this was ground floor?"

Ah Lian replied, "Aiyah so simple yo u also dunno ! 'G', mah .. "G" stand for gero loh!!"

To my Deyi students... does this joke sound familiar to you? Don't laugh too loud, because you might be saying it too!

11th Dec Rainy

Rainy day, went out with sister and bought a freaking big cake for my nephew's birthday. The brochure shows its for 18-30 people, a 2kg sponge cake with Thomas the Train's face printed on it. Lucky baby.

Then went to Ang Mo Kio's Jack's Place for dinner, my gosh its been there for 20+ years and I swear theres a reason why its there still. Because ITS GOOD. Friendly service, good food, ok price, I think I'll visit there more often, its great all in all. Other then that, today nothing much is done, played some games and relax the entire day. I am a firm believer of "All work no play makes Gary a Crazy Gay". So whilst I'm not converted into one yet, you can rest assure I will try my best not to.

Get ready for another rainy day tomorrow... ciaoz.

10th Dec Rainy

Rain.. and rain... and you know what? MORE RAIN.

This extra precipitation from the sky is seriously freaking me out, first of all the cold wind chills me to the bone with my 2 windows open, secondly its so troublesome to go out without getting wet, lastly... the wind is so freaking strong its blowing into my window. At least at night its really comfy, makes my alarm clock less effective in the morning.

Nonetheless, its an uneventful day, rainy and the constructions at my doorsteps adds wonderful music to my ears the entire day. Whats more, tomorrow the water supply is gonna be cut for 9 hours. Just hope they finish building the freaking lift faster.

9th Dec Rainy

Day started off doing mundane work, preparing notes and stuffs. Then it started to rain again, just when I thought about taking up some casual fishing as a hobby, I never really can get much chances to doing it for fun. Pretty cool stuffs, I wasn't really there to catch fishes, but the quiet time alone to myself while waiting on the line and playing with the lines actually lets me think clearer. Well at least thats not gonna happen with all these extra precipitation coming from the top.

Anyway, dinner at ThaiExpress, not too shabby, then a show at Cineleisure. Heres my breakdown on the show: The Heartbreak Kid

This shows sets me thinking on a few different matters, but on the whole its a really nice comedy. Don't read too much into it, and its really hilarious. Ben Stiller looks old in it, but I guess it fits his role.

For my students: Too bad its R21, you are not allowed to watch boobs on the big screen.

For my friends: Go watch it, i'm sure you'll like watching those boobs flying on the big screen, to top it off, its a great comedy!

Conclusion about the show: No need to treat life too seriously, anyway no one ever gets out of it alive.

8th Dec Cloudy Drizz

Went out on short notice to fishing. Got myself a small set of tackles, and totally clueless on how to use them. Well I somehow managed, but the fishes also manage to escape my wraith. Stupid banglas walk out to the beach with a net and "fuuuuuuuuuuu" sound, and then "piakkkkkkkkk"... wah biang oei... net full of small fishes, kenna 1 grouper and alot of catfishes... lucky bastiges get to eat Asam fish tonight.

After the afternoon fishing at Kallang, continue to fish again at Changi beach. Totally infested with people who come to catch crabs, and is more then willing to bring home what you caught and don't want to bring home. Some idiot can actually walk up to you with his pail, and said "oh.. where your big catfish?" and his waving his stupid pail. I have a good mind to throw him into the sea as bait.

However, newbie angler wannabe, zero fighter... entire day, I only manage to scoop up some thrash from the sea. Don't laugh, it can happen to you! BEWARE OF RETRIBUTIONS MUAHAHA!!

5th Dec Rain Rain Go Away

For a moment, I thought Singapore is experiencing floods again. It was raining since I started doing my stuffs in the morning, and it was still raining right now, 0630a.m in the morning. Its cold.. burrrrrrrrr....

Went with Jiaojiao to Jalan Kayu, to eat that "fantastic" prata. Ended up, I could probably get the same standard at Casuarina. Then proceeded to drive around casually with destinations changing by the time we reached the previous discarded destination. Not exactly productive, but we get to know the roads better at least, I hope. Last destination ended up in my room watching Anime. Breakfast at market and then its time to switch off my PC and go to sleep.

I don't know about you, but I'm definitely more creature then others.

4th Dec Sunshine

Barely slept from last night's alcohol, woke up from only 2 hrs of sleep. Didn't they say alcohol makes you sleep like a pig, looks like i'm a pig of a different breed. Today passes by with some bad incident, being the nice sharing person that I am, I will share my corny experiences with you guys, lucky bastiges...

Experience of a lifetime - 1
Overslept while traveling to Sim Lim, the reason how I woke up was because an Indian couldn't resist the temptation to sit beside a sleepy botak, and despite all the empty seats around us, and irregardless of how much leg space I had taken up, he managed to squeeze his big fat ass beside me, and of cause, the usual thing happened... his smell woke me up

Experience of a lifetime - 2
Went into the cinema and had this couple sitting right beside me. Let me try to describe their extremely nice behavior next to me. First off, the guy thinks the girl is cold, so he wraps his arms around her like shes some big Garfield doll. Then he whispers sweet nothings into her ears, but obviously "nothing" literally went into her girl's head, but that "nothing" became something to me as I could hear all his stupid jokes and laughter throughout the show. 3/4 passed the show, I told them to shut up. Ended up the guy got a little pissed being shamed by your friendly neighborhood botak. "do you think I care?"

Experience of a lifetime - 3
Taxi uncle was exact opposite from last night's Mario Go-Kart racer driver. This uncle obviously is either too careful on the road, or his a rare taxi uncle that could go constantly under 70km/hr on the highway. However I think its a common trait for taxi drivers to drive at lightning fast speeds.... especially when they are going over the hump, and I nearly knock my head on the roof because of that.


Stop gloating over my experiences, you are lucky you got to learn all these could happen without you experiencing it yourself! Time to sleep, or rather, try to sleep. Ciaoz.

3rd Dec Windy

Lazy day to start with, no tuitions. Was acting like a vegetable in front of the PC, even too lazy to press a single button. Practically sat in front of the PC waiting for things to happen. I think I just redefined the term "potato couch", maybe it should change to be an "IT potato couch".

Left home to steamboat dinner, and a drinking session after. As usual, I went home red faced, smelling like an alcoholic although I didn't really drink much. The taxi uncle was like... "Ah di ah, lim an ne zuay ah?". I couldn't resist but replied "Ah pek ah, you heng wa bo thor (vomit), ka kin drive me back or else I might". With that, he practically drove at a speed that any police with a thousand degree spectacles would chase after. Freaking idiot didn't even stop when going over the hump, I was very nearly on the verge of strangling him from behind.

With that, I am now back on my couch, trying to behave like a potato again. How exciting!

1st Dec Windy

Starts off the day with a solo tuition, followed by KFC with 4 punks, out of which 2 likes cheese fries, and 2 ended up liking to eat coleslaw wrap with fried chicken skin. And ohoh~ did I mention the 2 girls ended up owing me 2 favors each, and 1 guy owing me 6 favors from a lost bet? I think I should request for a body massage each time I see them, maybe... hmm.. just maybe....

Punks ended up watching a show in my room after lesson, in which I got so engrossed in the show that I showed my appreciation by dozing off... Anyway, nice movie though, think it's call "Jump In"? Whatever.

Supper with frog, learnt of his soon to come baby. Congratulations in adding another diaper to his family. Yes I am getting old, news of friends getting babies thoroughly reminds me that fact. But HEY, Babies are CUTE!!! (as long as they aren't mine)

30th Nov Super Windy

Its super cold today, I even had to close off half of my windows in order to stop myself from wearing extra sweater in my own room. Tuitions postponed, officially an "eng eng cheng cheng" day again. Tried to swing the golf club today, lucky I didn't hit the fellow behind me, I think his rather scared too. BUT HEY, I did hit the ball at least, heh.

Today the term, "eat full already" is really manifesting in me, but doesn't last for long... eat steamboat for 2 hrs, then eat again in less then 2 hrs. Worse part, come back home and I couldn't "build" the feeling to let them all out. Sucky feeling, eating is fabulous, but when you can't sh*t, its really what you call a sh*tty feeling.

And oh, did I mention it is still windy now? Time to go watch 50 First Dates before I sleep.
